Precautions taken so the sperms and eggs do not get mixed up:
-
When the patient gives a sperm sample for analysis or procedure, a
sample sperm submission form is signed when delivered to the
andrologia laboratory.
-
On every material used in the laboratory the name of the patient
is engraved on the glass with a glass cutter pen. Therefore any
mix up will be avoided and the names will not be erased.
-
The incubators where the sperms and eggs are preserved are used
separately for each patient and the names of the patients are
written on it in order to prevent mix up.
